Redwood Acres Fairgrounds has grown greatly throughout its eighty-seven years. What started as a gift to Humboldt County residents, as a place to gather and celebrate local resources, has evolved into a cherished landmark that celebrates the agricultural heritage, education, and culture of our community. Since 1937, “The Acres” has hosted its annual fair and youth livestock competition, as well as hundreds of various family friendly concerts, festivals, and events. Redwood Acres Raceway is the oldest continually operating speedway in California.
It is home to stock car racing as well as numerous varied motorsports. Our arenas have hosted countless rodeos and equestrian events. The Redwood Acres barns house animals for local FFA and 4H youth projects and horse boarders enjoy riding our arenas and adjacent trails. Redwood Acres Belotti Field is home to the Eureka High School, College of the Redwoods, and the Humboldt Eagles baseball teams. The fairgrounds also feature a forty-five site RV park which supports events and tourism.
